A little bit about me.

ErinMy name is Erin Resko and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in Ketchum, Idaho.  I recently graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR where I received my Masters in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.  Previously, I received my BS at The University of Colorado at Boulder in Boulder, CO in Integrative Physiology.  Recently I extended my studies to emphasize Sports Medicine and traveled to the Kyushu region of Japan to get hands on experience with collegiate athletes as well as  work in a hospital providing integral care to a wide range of patients and disorders.  It was an experience that was valuable beyond words.  My hope is to become a fore-runner in treating athletes from the novice to the premier for preventative means as well as rehabilitation therapy and to provide whole body health care for each individual that walks through my door.

In addition to practicing Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine I am also a certified Ketlle-bell Coach.  My classes are just getting up and running and include private group sessions as well as classes at High Altitude Fitness in Ketchum, Idaho.  I am also an avid athlete and former member of the US Development Freestyle Ski Team.  I spent a number of years growing on the Sun Valley Freestyle Ski Team and a few years post undergrad coaching for them as well.

I believe feeling good; both body and mind is the core of our well-being; my hope is to educate and empower my patients to create their best health.  In order to achieve this, I will combine many different therapies; acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, bodywork, exercise, lifestyle coaching and education as well as nutritional advice.

My goal is to enhance your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual lives as well as share my knowledge with you so you can take control of your own health and well-being.  This blog is designed to act as my website for clinic & scheduling information as well as an open forum to share my ideas, and my knowledge with you throughout my journey; after all, as Lao Tzu says “the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” (or in this case, one word).

~be well, be present & never forget the pleasure of your journey~

    Hey Scott,
Thanks for the feedback! I usually get all of my images from flickr and they usually link to the site, however, I see that this one doesn’t do that… I can’t technically give you permission as it is not “my” photo & since I can not find my link, I may have to take this one off of my site and replace it. Glad you found some useful info and I hope you keep reading 🙂 Thanks again,

Great site. You have some great images. Actually, I’d like to inquire if I could use one of your images on my site.
    Thanks for your consideration,
